New Look?

I revamped the website a little. Got rid of that weird ass fancy layout we had and went for functionality. 

Added a RELEASES page with all of the WMR releases and links to their downloads on one succicnt page. Functionality.

Waylon Thornton - CATFISH SAVIOR

 

I was going through my computer the other day and found this album. I recorded it at Arkain Studios here in Gainesville, all live, with just a kick drum and a guitar. Most of it is improvised. It's 9 songs and the whole album is probably 10 minutes long. It's funny that I found it because I'm writing a solo album called PARANORMAL HIGH SCHOOL right now. Anyways, this album is total trash thrash greasy punk shit. Dig it.

Waylon Thornton and the Heavy Hands will be playing TOTAL BUMMER fest here in Gainesville. The dates are March 26 - 28 and we're supposed to be playing 2 shows, but we'll see.

We're also working on a new album titled VULTURE FUNK. We were working on two seperate albums and it just seemed stupid and going nowhere, so we scrapped those and started over clean. That's the cover below and you can peep the title track below, as well.

In non music related news, Meg and I just had our first child, Dex Wray Wilde. He was 9lbs 2oz and is amazing.
